We would invite you to join our team at IMT! Our fabrication team is looking for hardworking, dedicated team members to join us.** **Summary:** These operators are setting up and operating the CNC machines proficiently and editing a CNC program for proper function. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Interpret advance engineering drawings, understanding design requirement including datums, critical dimensions and tolerances. + Sets up CNC machining and / or turning centers to achieve required specifications. + Effectively program, setup, & operate multiple CNC machines producing high quality parts. + Monitor parts to ensure adherence to drawings and within tolerances. + Shape, sharpen, set cutter & adjust tools to achieve desired print tolerance. + Knowledge & ability to setup bore gauges & other measuring equipment. + Complete all required paperwork, including labor reporting & documentation of quality control & material movement. + Continually on the move, prepping / moving heavy parts. + Being a reliable and punctual team member. **Basic Qualifications:** + Advanced blueprint reading, mathematical and technical skills. + Ability to use standard tooling such as, micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc. + Basic knowledge of boring bars, drills and other required tooling used to run a CNC machine. + Frequent lifting / carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices are available and recommended. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1 year experience beneficial. + Ability to read blueprints, understanding tolerances. + Basic knowledge of different material types is beneficial. + HS diploma or GED.
