Job Description

Clifftop Law is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday, supporting attorneys in a fast-paced and client-focused environment. We are looking for someone proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping families navigate complex legal matters with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare family law pleadings, declarations, discovery, financial documents, and correspondence.
• Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines with accuracy and consistency.
• Assist attorneys with client communication, case updates, scheduling, and hearing preparation.
• Conduct legal research and assist in trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and other parties in a professional and timely manner.
• Support attorneys across the full case lifecycle from intake to resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in family law at a law firm or legal office.
• Paralegal Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures, filings, and WA state court requirements.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines at once.
• Proficiency with legal case management software, Microsoft Office, and PDF editing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and reliable work ethic, with the ability to work in-person Monday–Friday.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience drafting family law pleadings with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and client-centered work culture.
