About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Quality Control Intern to support a key improvement initiative within our warehouse operations. This project focuses on enhancing the accuracy of scale-based part counting by analyzing weight variability and optimizing tare sample sizes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in quality control, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration - ideal for students looking to break into the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and record weights of diverse part types using calibrated equipment
  • Conduct statistical analysis to determine optimal sample sizes for scale count implementation
  • Analyze weight variability across samples to support system calibration and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Storage teams to align sampling procedures with warehouse operations
  • Document methodologies and contribute to the development of standardized processes
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support project alignment and execution

  • Familiarity with statistical methods and data interpretation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Microsoft systems (Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree
  • Preferred majors: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related fields
