The Opportunity

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll help build the intelligence layer at the heart of Bizee’s Entrepreneur Operating System. You will play a key role in transforming fragmented data into insights, models, and automations that anticipate founder needs, simplify workflows, and remove friction from every stage of entrepreneurship.

You’ll work closely with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Product to design and deploy ML models that power intelligent recommendations, workflow automation, semantic search, entity extraction, and more. This is a role for an engineer who loves building real products with applied ML.

Requirements

What You’ll Own

Model Development & Deployment

• Build, train, and deploy ML models for classification, ranking, clustering, NLP, and recommendation systems.
  
• Work across the full lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and production deployment.
  
• Own model monitoring, evaluation pipelines, and drift detection.

AI-Powered Product Features

• Design ML-powered workflows that automate manual steps for entrepreneurs (e.g., entity extraction, compliance triggers, predictive needs).
  
• Build recommendation systems that surface the next-best action for founders at the right time.
  
• Implement semantic search, retrieval, and document intelligence capabilities for documents, filings, and user content.

Platform & Data Integration

• Leverage event-driven data pipelines to deliver real-time ML signals into product experiences.
  
• Build APIs and services that enable ML outputs to power workflows across the entire platform.
  
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to ensure ML services are scalable, testable, and reliable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product to translate ambiguous founder problems into ML opportunities.
  
• Work with Data Engineering to shape datasets, embeddings, and features used in training and inference.
  
• Collaborate with Growth and CX teams on models that improve activation, retention, and LTV.

What You’ll Bring

• 5-8+ years of experience as an ML Engineer or Applied Scientist shipping models to production.
  
• Deep experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, feature engineering, and inference frameworks.
  
• Strong understanding of modern ML architectures, including transformers, retrieval-augmented systems, and embeddings.
  
• Experience deploying ML in production via APIs, microservices, or real-time pipelines.
  
• Familiarity with NLP techniques for classification, summarization, and entity extraction.
  
• Experience with vector stores, semantic search, feature stores, and model monitoring.
  
• Ability to translate complex ML concepts into simple, usable product capabilities.
  
• A builder’s mindset: iterative, resourceful, and comfortable working from zero-to-one in ambiguous environments.
  

Success Looks Like

Within 6-12 months, Bizee has production-ready ML services powering real product experiences: intelligent workflows, personalized recommendations, semantic search, and document understanding that materially improve activation, retention, and customer outcomes. Models are stable, observable, and continuously improving. The platform becomes meaningfully smarter, and you become a force multiplier across Product, Engineering, and Data accelerating Bizee’s evolution into an AI-powered Entrepreneur Operating System.
