Job Title: Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Greet and check in/out patients with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, respond to messages, and schedule/reschedule appointments
Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or outstanding balances
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Handle patient intake forms and ensure privacy compliance (HIPAA)
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, referrals, and medical records requests
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area
Support general administrative tasks as needed
Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
