We believe homes should be beautifully designed, intentional, and built to the highest standards of quality, comfort, and energy performance. Beyond construction, we're committed to shifting industry culture--prioritizing collaboration, balance, and a supportive, non-toxic work environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee remodel and custom home projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing an exceptional client experience.

This role is both office- and field-based, managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams. As the primary client contact, the Project Manager will build strong relationships, anticipate challenges, and create solutions to ensure smooth execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 3 to 5 residential construction projects using Buildertrend.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to coordinate trade partners and ensure quality, timely execution.
  • Maintain project financials, including bidding, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
  • Manage procurement and coordinate materials with design and field teams.
  • Act as the primary client liaison, providing regular updates and building trust throughout the project.
  • Supervise Superintendents, ensuring team accountability and success.
  • Proactively plan weeks to months ahead to prevent schedule overlaps and challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management systems and processes.

What We Value

  • 5+ years of residential project management experience
  • Buildertrend experience (preferred, not required)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in reading plans and coordinating design-to-build workflows
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, client-facing and internal
  • Tech-savvy (Google Workspace, Buildertrend, MacOS/Windows)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail
  • Ability to travel within Boulder County

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($85,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience)
  • 4+ weeks PTO annually (increases with tenure)
  • 11 paid holidays + unlimited unpaid time off
  • Company credit card + monthly gas stipend ($200)
  • Company computer + phone bill reimbursement
  • Health insurance + 401(k) package
  • Buildertrend 1:1 training + Passive House training (EMU)
  • Collaborative, supportive work environment
