Job Description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Start Date ASAP Length of Contract 8 weeks Shift 7a - 3:30p Hours/week 40 hours/week; M-F Unit RN Nurse Manager; inpatient rehab Floating Requirement N/A Weekend Requirement Be available to discuss any unit issues Blocked Scheduling? N/A Position Details Please review all details: Run daily unit huddles, assure BSSR Verify staffing and assignments Round on all patients daily Round on all staff daily assure white boards are up to date and hourly rounding is occurring Complete MIDAS incident and follow up Manage and complete 6 week schedules Assure nurses attend/participate in Team conference daily and support as needed Pay Rate $65/hour Local only Requirements: + Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices. + Full command of the English language, both verbal and written. + Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation). + Current PPD or Chest X-Ray. + One year prior professional nursing experience preferred. + Current BLS card.
