Job Description

**Description:** **SHIPFITTER** Duties: - Fabricate and assemble structural parts of ships, including bulkheads, frames, and hulls. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements. - Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components using various tools and equipment. - Install and secure fittings, fixtures, and other components on ships and marine vessels. - Inspect and test completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 6 months - 1 year; Possible Long Term **Schedule** Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Half-hour lunch at 11:30 am to 12:00 noon. Kewalo Shipyard **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
