Job Description

Systems Administrator needed for our government client in Glen Burnie, MD. The Systems Administrator will support and secure the local area network infrastructure. Seven month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $35.00 per hour.

• Support and secure the local area network infrastructure which consists of 413 servers (55 physical and 358 virtual), a storage area network, load balancers, DMZ, domain controllers, data backups, cloud-based disaster recovery (DR) solution, VLANs, network switches and port assignments, as well as the software that sits on this equipment and the security to protect it.
  
• Leverage software tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft SCCM, Defender, Active Directory, PDQ for patching, Manage Engines Privileged Account Management, Multi- Factor Authentication, AD Audit Plus, Key Manager, Log 360, Self Service Plus, Azure certificate vault, VMware, Nutanix, Nexpose, Orion, Counteract, Absolute, Commvault, NetApp, Spotlight and Vormetric to manage the infrastructure.
  
• Manage and configure TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP using BT Diamonds IP Control and MSDNS & MSDHCP tools.
  
• Build and maintain the virtual servers using VCenter and MS terminal server.
  
• Provide 24/7/365 support for critical applications scheduled on a rotating basis. Support equipment and systems in 24 branches.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have at least four years of systems administration to include large network infrastructure experience.
  
• Must have experience with Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, PDQ for patching, Manage Engines Privileged Account Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, AD Audit Plus, Key Manager, Log 360, Self Service Plus, Azure certificate vault, VMware, Nutanix, Nexpose, Orion, Counteract, Absolute, Commvault, NetApp, Spotlight, Vormetric, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP using BT Diamonds IP Control and MSDNS & MSDHCP tools.
  
• Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm with a 30 minute non paid lunch Monday through Friday three days a week on site and two days remote.
  
• Must be able to pass a FBI background check and drug test.
