Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.
Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.
Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.
Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.
Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an unarmed security officer, law enforcement, military, or correctional
Must have a current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/Permit
knowledgeable of the security industry
Must have a customer service driven mindset
Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients
As a condition of employment, candidate must pass a drug screening
As a condition of employment, candidate must a background screening
Candidate must adhere to COVID-19 Vaccination mandates
