**Job Title: Pipe Fitter/Welder** We are seeking a skilled Pipe welder with experience in industrial production facilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various piping systems and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting technical drawings for successful project execution. Responsibilities + Run piping through active industrial production facilities with precision and care. + Work with butt weld and socket weld systems, handling steel pipes up to 8" in diameter. + Interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to accurately understand projects. + Understand and implement Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) to coordinate installation of valves and instruments. + Generate isometric drawings for fabrication, ensuring proper take-offs and cut lengths from field measurements. + Field route piping as required, utilizing expertise in welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel. + Read and comprehend P&ID and orthogonal drawings to disseminate and create isometric drawings. + Handle materials including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Fiberglass, PVC, HDPE, and Copper with various welding techniques. + Layout pipelines including elevation changes and directional flow adjustments. + Install in-line instrumentation, valves, and other necessary appurtenances. + Commit to occasional weekend work with a typical schedule of four 10-hour days starting at 6:30 AM. Essential Skills + 2-5 years of previous experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial environment. + Familiarity with ASME codes and standards. + Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments. Why Work Here? Work will be split between locations in Virginia and Maryland. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
