Job Description

Overview:

MCE is expanding and will open a new location in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in early 2026! We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in this new facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience in metabolic health, diabetes care, and hormone management. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care in a family practice setting. Candidate will utilize advanced clinical skills to deliver high-quality healthcare services. Candidates with experience in specialized procedures such as functional medicine, metabolic wellness, diabetic care, and nerve pain management are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
  • Administer medications and injections with precision and adherence to protocols.
  • Manage acute pain and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal, and behavioral health patients.
  • Coordinate discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and post-acute care services.
  • Engage in health coaching and patient education regarding disease management and preventive care.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid Physician Assistant license with current Oklahoma state certification.
  • Proven experience in diverse clinical environments.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience administering injections (including IV insertion), performing venipuncture, and catheter care.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working with populations requiring specialized care, particularly patients with diabetes.
